South Tyrol Museum of Nature

Bolzano | historic centre

The South Tyrol Museum of Nature is housed in the former official building of the Austrian Emperor Maximilian I. An exhibition area of 100 square metres shows the diversity of the South Tyrolean landscape, in particular the history of the formation of the Dolomites.

The main attraction is the coral reef aquarium and the nautilus aquarium. The ever-changing special exhibitions are a highlight.
